Anne studied singing with Dr. Veronica Dunne, Dublin and Elizabeth Hawes, London as well as speech and drama at the Leinster School of Music in Dublin. In 1995 she sang in the premiere of Patrick Cassidy's "The Children of Lir" in Boston. She also recorded soundtracks for two mayor film productions. | |||||||||

Ronan Hardiman - now a leading Irish composer of music in the local film and television industry - decided to leave his daytime job as a teller with the Bank of Ireland in 1990 to persue his dream of one day becoming an acclaimed composer. He quickly became a sought bright new talent. By 1996, when Michael Flatley commissioned him to compose the music for "Lord of the Dance", Hardiman list of credits and awards were as impressive as they were internation with major commissions from the B.B.C. |

and P.B.S. (U.S.) completed. The spectacular global success of "Lord of the Dance" propelled Hardiman's career into overdrive. Flooded with offers from around the world, Hardiman chose to accept an offer from Polygram Records to write and record a solo project. In March 1998 Hardiman released "Solas", his first solo cd. Already achieving gold status in Ireland, "Solas" is currently enjoying enormous success in the US an dsince release has been in the Billboard New Age Top Twenty chats. In January 1999 "Solas" spawned a top 10 hit single in France entitled "Elle Donne", a French version of "Heaven" taken from "Solas". More recently, Hardiman received the distinguished honour of being specially commissioned by the Goverment of the Republic of Ireland to compose an original piece of music celebration for the millenium. He already released a second solo album "Anthem". |
